The inspiration behind the project is how to turn a hotel room into an experience.

What characterizes it?

The place and its peculiarities. Τhe image of the Greek landscape, the local textures and the familiar atmosphere. 

What is for us the hotel room?  Τhe place of the senses, textures, information and the experience of a different reality. This new reality is based on the place that is called to reconcile with the interior, in the environment that pervades private spaces, in the room that opens to the landscape.

The history, the character and the dynamics of the place and the landscape are imprinted in the memory of the visitor, the place and the time of his stay are connected with them. The guest lives a new residential experience that meets the functional needs of his perfect living. The senses are awake, the sound mutates, the image is determined, the light erases the surfaces and coats the objects, the textures are rough-smooth.

Material boundaries are dissolved to allow the environment to invade and the interior to overflow, creating shading and translucency filters that offering privacy. The villas are formed into solid masses that enclose view, motion, light screens.

Τhe concept of locality is translated into the use of local materials, techniques and textures. The evolution of the applications traditional techniques transports the result of a new level of materiality that reflects the continuity of place and memory. Patterns and details define the identity of the space that create associations and become images that are carried like luggage-experience.
